8 apples, peeled,cored and sliced
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar
Melt butter in saucepan and add remainder of ingredients.
Simmer until apples are tender about 20-25 minutes .
