Frescati Potatoes

6-8 peeled potatoes(depending on size of your dish & potatoes)
2 rashers of bacon chopped
1 medium onion chopped or sliced(depends on you)
4 buttom mushrooms sliced fine(optional)
1 1/4 cups light cream
1 cup of chicken stock
1/2 cup grated paremsan
paprika to sprinkle on top
oil

Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius(350 F).
Lightly spray your choice of baking dish with oil.
Scatter the base with the onion, bacon and mushrooms.
Then peel and halve your potatoes.
Slice them, but keep them together as your place them in your baking dish on top of the onion mix.
Pour in your chicken stock, evenly sprinkle on the grated parmesan and then pour light cream over entire dish.
Now spinkle on the paprika.
Cook in oven for approximately 1 hour, check with a knife, if still hard inside cook til tender.
You may need to cover dish with tin foil if the top over-browns.
