Chokecherry Syrup

8 cups ripe chokecherries
4 cups water
2 cups sugar
1 oz. Pectin crystals

Prepare chokecherry juice as in previous recipe. Bring pectin crystals and juice to a boil. Stir in sugar and boil vigorously for 1 minute. Pour into hot sterilized jars.
