Black-Eyed Pea Relish

1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped green peppers
2 (14 oz) cans blackeye peas

In a jar combine:
1/4 cup mild vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup salad oil
1 tsp garlic juice
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp hot sauce

Pour jar mixture over onion, peppers and peas. Chill overnight before serving.
Great with ripple-type chips
