Green Bean and Onion Salad

1 pound green beans, whole
1 small red onion, diced thin
2 teaspoons of red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Boil the green beans just until they are tender but still crisp, approximately 5 minutes.

Place the green beans into a bowl, add the remaining ingredients and toss well.
